The Jazz Band, a band from the late ’70s and early ’80s, is one of my favorite jazz albums of all time, and its lyrics were sung by a jazz guitarist named Jimmie Vaughan.
That saxophone part in the song, “When the Sun Comes Out,” is also one of the best saxophone solos in the history of the genre.
Jazz musicians are great at finding new ways to express themselves, and Jazz Band has a great deal of energy and excitement throughout its five-minute run time.
The song is one the best jazz guitar solos ever written, and it’s worth the watch.
Check out a video of the song above.
